Treat or Treaters

I got to tend Elliott today, but she was not feeling well.  I never even put her cute monkey costume on her!  I gave her a sucker which she carried around for a while, but didn't even eat.  Poor thing!
Not a lot of kids made it this year, but those that did had some awesome costumes; the Lays came first.  ( there were 2 of the lead from "Brave")

Then a Peck and a Barlow.

The cute little Colton from next door.

The Henrys.

The Allens.

The Schilling's GREAT grandkids.

Christopher and the older Skardas.

The youngest Skardas.  (How appropriate that Isabel has her binky, sometimes she come to nursery with 3 clipped onto her dress)!

Only 2 Gearys.

The darling Lonsdales.

And last, but not least this kid I don't know that the cute girl from next door brought over.  He just may have had the most amazing costume of all!

Mama Elliott

Elliott brought her baby with her today.  She had to hold it and the baby she usually plays with at my house.  Such a cute little mommy!

She had them laying on the floor doing "up downs" while we exercised today.

An Elliott Week-End!

Josh and Meg went on a bike ride yesterday and a hike today down in flooding Moab, (there's sure to be some adventures to tell about there) and so we got Elliott!
We are getting ready to change the playroom into a couple of bedrooms, so Elliott helped us clean out the hoilday decoration cupboards.  She grabbed this Easter bucket and the plastic pumpkin that has become her favorite toy for the day!

Here she is ready for bed and still carrying it around.
Thanks for sharing Josh and Meg!  She is so much fun!

The Chapman girls dance

Are these not the cutest dancers ever?

SAturday morning robot dancers

This is what I woke up to Saturday morning.

Sophie and Tessa dance while the guys build shelves.

The Good Life

Okay, This is mine and Jonathan's favorite new picture.  Elliott in Jonathan's nerd glasses.

We went to Denver Thursday after Richard and I got home from work.  Jonathan stayed home.  He had lots of plans Thursday.  Including a job interview, but nothing the rest of the week.  Friday morning we woke up to this snow!

Tessa and Sophie were excited to see the snow when they woke up!

They got all of their winter gear on.

Jaocb had to stay inside and eat bananas.

They had a ball playing in their back yard.

We went to McDonalds to play in the playground before Sophie went to kindergarten.

She ran into a classmate there and had lots of fun!

Grandpa kept Jacob supplied with french fries.

The snow melted away so Richard got to work on a window.  Jess decided she needed to help him get his platform up the ladder.

When Dan got home and joined the fun Jacob had to get out there, too!

SAturday was even colder!  So Richard and Dan built shelves down in the storage room instead of working on windows. Sophie and Tessa dressed and ready to play their conference game.

Sophie so anxious for conference to start.

Tessa loves yogurt!

This morning Jessica made us waffles.  I have to say that its worth the trip to Denver just for the delicious food Jessica cooks!  She is so talented!  We had her amazing pizza; pepperoni and cilantro barbeque chicken.  Hamburger soup and peasant bread, and of course her waffles!

Tessa snuggling with Sophie's horse.

When the girls heard I wouldn't be back for Halloween Jessica told them they could show me their costumes.  Aren't they adorable?

This is Tessa showing me how she plans to pose in her costume.

Here's the whole cute Chapman family!  It was so fun to play with you!
I brought my Just Dance 3 game there with me since the girls had loved playing it when they were here.  We played it for hours and hours.  I have a few videos I'll upload later!

Happy Birthday to Meg!

We had Meg's birthday dinner Sunday!  I made Erika and Jessica's amazing icecream cake.  It didn't look as good as when Jessica made it, but it still tasted delicious;  how can you go wrong with mint chocolate chip ice cream sandwiches, fudge topping, cool whip, andes mints and chocolate syrup?

Elliott was having one of her not eating days and she even ate it.

Today is Meg's actual birthday and we are working on teaching Elliott to sing "Happy Birthday to Mommy"
I just have to add what a delight it is to have Meg in our family!  Josh you did good marrying her!  She is so sweet and kind and fun to have around!  Here's wishing her another great year!
