New Year's Eve

Logan wathcing Bubble Guppies this morning.

All packed up and ready to go.

I got back from the airport and the Chapmans came to play.  We tied a quilt for the Conneticut elementary school and discovered that the quilt frame is the perfect size for the cute play house my sister made me for Christmas.

Sweet little Tessa curled up and fell asleep in the corner.

Big old Dan fell asleep in the basement.

In the background is the quilt we tied (Jess, Sophie and I)
Jess is making girly sweatbands for Jenny and her.

Tending the tots and Sunday game night

Logan and Grandpa are just about twins.

Jack and Steph stopped to say good-bye on their way to the airport.

We got the priviledge of tending the Chapman kids while their parents saw Les Mis.  Here's Sophie and ready to sled with Grandpa in the front yard.

Jacob decided he loves the rocking horse.

Tessa loves Sydney's princess book.

Logan decided he like to ride the horse, too.

We got to tend Sydney and Logan while Jason and Nicole went to dinner with these friends of their's.

2 cute kids ready for church.  Well Logan went to sleep before church.  He was one tired boy in this shot.

Josh and Meg came for dinner for one last visit with Jason and family.  Its their 4 year anniversary today!  You'd think I'd get a picture of them together on their anniversary, but we were having so much fun playing games with Connie and Rob, who stopped by, that I didn't get the camera until later.  Sydney and Elliott had lots of fun running up and down the stairs together.  Syd discovered our puzzles last night and did 3 with grandpa.  Then today she discovered the games.  Hence we were playing games today.

Jason and Nicole are taking off tomorrow.  Then we'll just have the Chapmans around.  A few more days of fun!

And more family fun!

As Steph calls them; "The Three Muskateers".

Jane loves to sit in Logan's car seat.

We had an experience at the movie theatre; 7 adults, 7 children got in our seats with popcorn, drinks, and waited for Wreck-It Ralph to start.  After a delay an employee came and told us that the movie wasn't working and we could get in line for a refund or go to another movie.  So we went to see Rise of the Guardians instead.  Great movie!  A few scary places for Tessa and Dean.  And they gave us vouchers for more movies, so it all worked out in the end.

We went straight to Clearfield to visit Josh and Elliott (Meg was working) from the movie.

The kids had lots of fun with Elliott's toys.

We got back in time to get dinner at our place.  Zupa catering size food! Dean made himself this attractive necklace.  He is so funny!

Jess and the girls went shopping for fabric, so Jessica could make this cute blanket for her friend's baby shower which is today.

The Quincy Christmas!

Jason's poor family got very little sleep last night.  Sydney was sleeping with Sophie and Tessa in the new bedroom.  She woke up crying for her mommy many time.  Logan woke up a few times, too.

The Chapmans got a little more sleep.  Only 2 kids woke up once each.

Tessa was worn out all day form the wake ups last night.

We had a great time dressing up for the Nativity reading.  Notice Tessa is an angel carrying a baby, an unusual occurance. Sophie was a lovely Mary and Jason was a good sport and dressed as Joseph.  Dean lovd the Shepherd costume.  Richard was a good one, too.  James narrated and wore the Wise man crown.

We tried again getting a shot of all the grandkids.  This time we were smart enough to include a couple of  mom.  And moved more quickly.  But, alas, we realized Sydney was missing.

Here's Joni bringing her down and telling us good bye.

Here's a best attempt.  Notice Syd is the only one looking at the camera.

Escaping!

Just Dance Disney Party was a great girl hit.

Jacob and Jamison getting reacquainted.

Jane loving her new stroller.

Elliott showing Josh her moves.
The stroller was TOO popular!

Sweet Tessa giving Sydney a ride in the wagon.

Meg and Jane.
Checking out the stockings.

Jack was sick and kindly wore this mask to save us from his germs.
The biggest surprise was an announcement from Jack and Steph that they are expecting another baby in June!  Jamison will be 17 months!

Dean wanted to keep his costume on for a while.

Jacob was excited about the candy!

Logan loving his candy cane!
Jason, Nicole, Josh, Jess, Jenny and James all went to the gym and did a cross-fit workout together. Jack, Dan and Jonathan went to see "The Hobbit". While Meg, Steph and I stayed and tended the 9 cuties.
Grandma and Grandpa came over and saw all the great grandkids!  It was fun!!

The day after Christmas or Quincy Christmas Eve

Jason and Nicole came today and best friends Dean and Sydney were so happy to play together all day.

Darling Logan is such a happy boy!

Husbands smashing their wives!

Jack and Steph made it and Logan and Jamison played well together.

Jamison isn't his usual happy self.  He was sick until yesterday and seems to be
kind of less than his happy self.

The Chapmans made the drive from Denver in the storm and arrived at 7:00 pm.

Such a relief to have them safely here!

Sophie is telling James about her favorite movie.

Sophie showing off her favorite Christmas gift.

He is very attached to his mommy.

Scary red eyes for some reason.

Yup!  Joni and Mikey are engaged!  Mikey was even brave enough to come in and meet almost the whole family.  Jonathan was at work and Josh, Meg and Elliott had made the trip to South Jordan like 4 out of the last 5 days and so they wanted to stay home today. They'll be here tomorrow! Congrats to them both!

Some very cute dads and their sons.  James didn't opt to get Dean out of bed for the shot.
Such a great day!  Tomorrow is going to be even better!!!  Woohoo!
