Children are an heritage of the Lord....as arrows are in the hand.....happy is the (wo)man that hath (her)his quiver full of them. Psalms 127:3-5

Easter testimony
My daughter, Jenny posted her testimony on her blog. I enjoyed it and decided to follow in her foot steps. Also Jonathan got Richard and I to go to the Legacy Theatre to see Joseph Smith, Prophet of the Restoration last night. I encourage everyone to go see it. It's been changed and I was surprised that I hadn't seen it since the changes.
I know that I have a Savior. I have felt the power of his atonement in my life as I've been healed from my mistakes, had the sorrow of loss taken away, and had my physical pain diminished. I love the scriptures. I have been studying the gospel of John. I love the many times and ways that Christ testifies of the Father and his relationship to him. I loved reading and pondering the last 2 chapters; where Jesus appears to Mary after the resurrection, and then to the apostles 3 times. It gives me such a feeling of joy to know that Christ has broken the bands of death. That we can see our loved ones again! I know that because of the restoration of the keys of the priesthood, through the prophet Joseph Smith that I am sealed to my family! As the primary song says; "I know he lives....I know that my Savior loves me"! In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

A couple of BIG days for Jack
Yesterday for Jack's 24th birthday he took his last final and corrected 40 finals for the class he TAs. Sounds like fun, eh? He and Jason have had finals on their birthdays all their years at BYU.
Today Jack graduated!!! His degree is in Computer Engineering. Here he is after receiving his fake diploma..
Waiting in line for his name to be announced...
Leaving to get in line for his name to be announced...
Oops, I just realized those pictures are out of order.
Here he is being congratulated by his beautiful wife!
His parents are proud of him, too.
Steph's mom and brother came and partied with us!!
We went to Dos Hermanos to eat after. My picture of the waiters singing "happy birthday" to Jack didn't work. Then we went to their apartment for cake and ice cream!
Here's a shot of Ryan (my friend's grandson) trying out the great chair Josh and Meg gave me for my birthday. It was perfect! Thanks!!

A fun day of day care and some updates
Today started out as any other Wednesday with cute Elliott to tend.
At 12:30 Madison and Mason came...
At 1:30 Jaden came...
And then at 3:00 Dexter arrived!

By 3:15 it was just Elliott and Dex. I had Jonathan take this cute shot of Dex holding Elliott's hand.
So it was a busy, but fun day. Of course this is small potatoes compared to Laura and her average day! I loved it, but I don't think I'd love it every day!
So it was a busy, but fun day. Of course this is small potatoes compared to Laura and her average day! I loved it, but I don't think I'd love it every day!For some catch up; We celebrated my birthday on Saturday by doing family baptisms at the Draper temple, going to Zupa's for dinner and then coming back home to watch Tangled and have cake and ice cream. It was a great day! Jonathan missed the fun because he went to girl's pref that day. (He told me the day before that he was going). Joni was recovering from some surgery.
Monday Jonathan found out that he made it! He's a Madrigal! Joni's birthday party next Sunday, Jason's gift is in the mail, Jack graduates on the 22nd of April. We'll celebrate his birthday on Easter. I kind of miss the 3 days in a row of birthday cake days. Life is good and busy at the Quincy's.

On becoming a senior citizen
Teenager...
Almost all of us...
5 kids...
6 kids...
3 kids...
Two kids...
One child...
I turned 55 today! It seems like yesterday I was a teenager. How does that happen? My kids are mostly all grown up, my mom doesn't seem to be getting any older (see last post) and yet I have aged! I love my life! I am living my dream with a sweet granddaughter to tend 2 days a week and 2 more grandkids to be born this year! So I guess I must be in the "golden years". My sweet sister did a blog post for my birthday here's the link http://ellisgomeznews.blogspot.com/ Its been a great day!
