The Splash Pad, Chapmans leave, Jack arrives, and Jonathan's recital

Joni made it back from Country Jam! She was well cooked, but had a great time! She said it was as hot as I could imagine. We made a trip to the splash pad in Herriman on Friday and the girls loved it.
Here it looks like Sophie is busted! Could have been for knocking her sister over or laying on the ground and drinking the water. She did both of those things there. Mostly she ran around with the big boys fearlessly. The cousins; sitting on the bench is the best way to get a shot of Sophie! 3 Chapman moms. Melidee and Tessa enjoying strawberries. Tessa loved it and doesn't she look awesome in her new suit? Out of bed, hair done and into clothes in about 6 minutes! Jessica is amazing! Ready for the long drive home! Steph got her car back just in time for Jack's visit. Kind of happy to be together for a couple of days! Jonathan gave his most stunning performance to date at his piano recital Saturday. Most of his performance is in the videos below. He also gave a talk in Sacrament meeting Sunday and accompanied 2 musical numbers. He hardly got to sit down! Next Sunday he gets his patriarchal blessing! And wish him luck on the library shelfer test he takes Wednesday!

Aunt Meg and Uncle Josh come and play!!

It is so much fun to have Josh and Meg over with the girls! They had to drive clear down in a traffic jam after working all day, but we all loved having them there.
Tessa getting herself and Josh wet at the water table.

These girls love Meg and Josh! Getting Tessa in the air! Sadly we had the camera on the low resolution setting for all the videos while the Chapmans were here. Richard fixed it for Jonathan's piano recital yesterday though.

Lagoon!

First ride! Tessa is saying "Woowoo" for the train.
I tried to get Tessa peaking through the fence waiting for a ride. The cars were one of the favorites! Notice their hot, red faces. They loved the little boats and even took turns ringing the bell. Lots of the rides scared Sophie, but she rode them and was happy after, here I caught her looking like she wishes she were anywhere, but on this airplane right now. Riding the Merry-g0-round with mommy. Sophie loving the little bear on the merry-go-round Rocketeers! Tessa couldn't reach the gun. Waiting for rides is soo hard! Very sad about not going on any more rides... Cooling off before we drive home... Tessa didn't want to get on the is ride and Sophie was the only kid there and decided it was just a little too scarry! "I never ride in elephants" she yells!

Loving the boats!

Cooling off in the fountain. I have to say that this was a very smart addition to Lagoon since the last time I was there.

the Yangs stop by!

All it took was a little bribery and we got the Yangs to stop by this morning. They are borrowing our portable dvd player for their ride home. Here's Freddy looking awesome in his hawaiian shirt.
Min and Lionel.

So when the Yangs arrived I was in the shower and Jess had just returned from her run. She quickly threw on these brown shoes to take the kids out back to play. Don't they look great with her running shorts?

Charlotte does tramp tricks.

Freddy made up a great song that he sang as he was swinging. I tried to get it on video. You can hear if you manage to block out the background noise.

What a cute family! It was really great to see them and to meet Lionel for the first time!

Lots of babies!

We got to see all of the Wilson grandkids tonight! (Except for Corrine of course) Tessa and Sophie had never met some of these cuties. Notice Charlotte folding her arms and Tessa laying on top of baby Jane. (She really loves babies). It was so fun to see all of these cuties playing together! They are so fun! Sophie and Tessa fit right in. Thanks for inviting and feeding us Grandma!
Tessa and Kate hanging out on the stairs. Mary and Freddie Jana and Min Grandma and Grant Cowgirl Sophie Dean and Erika enjoying Lionel. This is the backside view of the adults getting the kids ready for the cousin picture. I thought it was hilarious to watch.

Back at Grandma's in their pajamas and riding the computer chair.

Jess, some friends and their kids

Jess invited some friends and their kids over to play this morning. It was fun to see these cute moms and their kids play!
Tessa looks a little chubby in her short shorts, eh?

Sophie and Elise spent lots of time in the playhouse.

Here's the girls dancing to "the dog song"

Neacel had never been on a tramp before. He was fearless!Tessa soaked herself and anyone around her at the water table. I was inside shooting through the screen door. It was too scarry out there!

Goodbye to the Chapmans

The Chapmans just arrived and they are gone already! We did get some play time yesterday morning though when it stopped raining and warmed up some.
Sophie wanted to sit in the "A".

Pirate Tessa. Hiding. This girl loves her grandpa.
Sophie loves to climb! First one down the slide. A swinger. Striking a pose. Sophie really likes opening and closing the door. We'd just watched Enchanted. I got a big kick out of Sophie looking out the window and singing the "Ah ahs and then "I am waiting for my true love's kiss". She told me that she's just like Giselle; she's wants to find her true love, kiss him and marry him! Stuff of her Dad's nightmares. Making an important call. Walking out the door. The girls don't look too happy about climbing back into the van for 8 hours, do they? The only way to get a shot of Tessa is to have her in the high chair or in a swing. Video is the best way to capture her. Sophie fell in love with S'more poptarts. She had 2 for breakfast every morning. Jess did Tessa's hair, I did Sophie's. Oh well, Sophie liked it. I miss them already! Here's a few of the videos I got of these girls.
Tessa giggling.

This was trying to capture Sophie being Giselle. Somehow I missed most of it.

Tessa is wild. The scarier it is, the more she laughs.

These girls have grown up so much!! They really enjoyed the tramp; Tessa mostly enjoyed getting on and off of it (notice the bridge Richard made her) and Sophie loves to jump and fall!

I tried and tried to get a still shot of Tessa this morning and got nothing but back and side. So I got this video of her dancing with her bear instead.
