Elmo, Elliott and Emmett

Elliott and Emmett watching Elmo.

Emmett and Elliott reading books. These two really get along, but they are very competitive about everything; eating, drinking, reading books with me, who sits on my lap, and of course pony rides on my foot. Elliott slept over 2 hours and Emmett slept 3 hours for naps today. I love that kind of competition!!

Promised video of piano duo

Its kind of dark, but not as dark as the others I shot. Its just a dark room in the late afternoon. And she slid off the bench at the last minute. Oh well, you get the idea!

I wish I had a picture of the Chapmans and their new house! Poor Jess will get around to blogging when she gets moved in and all!

Sleepless in Seattle

My first introduction to Jamison. Poor Steph looked like death warmed over. (Sorry Steph, but it's true) She had hardly slept in the first week of Jamison's life. She was at the ready to collapse stage. Jack burping the baby. Showing off their matching hairlines. Steph a bit more rested at the pediatricians on Friday. Jamison showing off his Grandma's little heartbreaker onesie. Jack starting tummy time. Duckie boy.

Feeling much more rested and ready for the ball game. (Jack is the only one who didn't sleep through it, but they were appropriately dressed). I made Steph take out the binky for this shot and Jamison wasn't pleased. The traditional baby in dad's hand shot for my wall.

Jamison is very wiggly and strong. I tried to get a shot of how he arches his back, but he really does it best while your try to feed and burp him and I was busy feeding and burping him when I needed the videos.

Jack and Jamison

I just had to see the baby shots together. Jack was a pretty big boy, but a pound lighter than Jamison. The hair looks the same.

Jamison is here and other fun stuff

And he has a name! Jamison Anderson Quincy!
Just got this one of him sleeping today!

Poor little Steph went through a day of labor; she was induced Wednesday morning and then had to have a c-section at 11:00 that night. It may be because this guy is huge! He was 8 lbs. 12 oz, 22 1/4 inches and has one very large head. They were told he has the head of an 11 lb. baby. Poor little guy is still nameless, but I'm sure he'll get one soon.

This is the picture Jonathan did last week. Its called "Color Blind". This week was "Tongue Tied" he finished it at school so I haven't seen the finished project yet. This is some of the haul from Valentine's Day, missing the great popcorn from the Deaners and the Paradise Bakery cookie from my Visiting Teachers and of course all the chocolate from Richard and other good friends. The cute globe is from one of my nursery cuties. I've been tending my friend's granddaughter the last 3 weeks for a few days a week. She loves to mother Elliott. Elliott loves having kids around. She's so cute with them. Her favorite person still seems to be Jonathan though. She'll walk clear across the room to him when he gets home, hold up her arms and follow him around until he picks her up. She loves to help him play the piano, play video games, eat, whatever he's doing is what she wants to do. I love it!

I need to get a video of them playing the piano together it's pretty sweet. Here's one of Abby and Elliott from Wednesday.

Birthday, anniversary, accident and artwork

Okay, out of order again, but you can see first off that Elliott survived her accident and has just a small bump on the top of her head to show for it.Here's the birthday cake I made for her with Mason and Madison's help. Her new birthday outfit her mom got her; isn't she adorable? Tomorrow is Jason and Nicole's 4th anniversary! Congrats to them! The have the funnest daughter! I am excited to see how fun their son is going to be! Here's the accident! It made the loudest crash! I found Elliott laying still on the carpet in my bedroom with no blood, which seems very lucky when you see all the broken glass in my bathroom! And here's a cool picture Jonathan did for a friend last week. He's playing at a piano recital tomorrow night, so there will be another post soon!
