More of isolation and some adventures

We got our taxes signed!  Thanks Gary for helping us get another return!  We were supposed to have 2 showers on Saturday that were  cancelled so we delivered shower gifts.  My mom saw us and had to greet us!
I was inside completely for 3 days  so Friday we drove through Antelope Island and saw lots of buffalo!
We found used puzzles for Richard 's mom.  Just had to drive to Tooele to get them.
It feels good to be fasting for relief from the virus today!  What a blessing to have a prophet to guide us!  I'm saddened and shocked to hear of the many deaths from this virus!  We'll come out of this humbled and shaken, but more determined to serve others and to follow the prophet!  So excited for conference!  I bet it will be the most listened to conference ever!

Such a Time As This

Looking back it's wonderful to see all the preparation for such a Time As This!  Home centered church,  food storage, ministering, and so many ways to connect with church meetings and teachings from home!  Obviously Jesus Christ is guiding us through living prophets!
We are glad we made it to the Timpanogos temple before they closed.  Richard got one more fishing trip in!
Last week we had sacrament meeting with some homebound neighbors, Monday we met our daughter's family at Estes Park in Colorado and did lots of hiking and played board games.  We stayed with their in-laws in Pueblo and looked at houses in the area.  We came home in between snow storms.  Part of I80 was closed because of a big accident so we went 60 miles north and saw part of Wyoming we'd never seen.
We found eggs and potatoes in Pueblo, and pasta and soup in Wyoming.  We celebrated Jonathan's birthday with just the 3 of us.  It's a historic time.  Our friends were telling us about living through the polio epidemic and staying inside.  Al said that 4 people on his block got polio.  It was scarier than this virus!
We miss church with others and temple service, but we're thankful to be able to have each other and that our families are healthy so far!  We pray we come through this time with stronger testimonies and that our faith will conquer our fears.

A burial, redoing the tramp, helping dad and Olives birthday party!

Richard's friend's brother died.  Here he is with 2 guys he grew up with in California at the graveside.

Building on the last lot in our subdivision.

Richard redid the retaining wall and moved the tramp over a couple of feet.

Richard went fishing for the first time in 22 months!

We helped my dad move a tree he'd had cut down.  He just can't act his age, he has to join in on the work!

We got the new mat and pad on and the kids love it!

We spoke in the 6th ward this morning and discovered 6 Tahitian French Speakers!  So fun to hear French again!

We had a birthday dinner for Olive!

I tried to get a new picture of Joni's family.

It's been a good week!

Birthday time in St George, signing up for Social Security, and a Wedding celebration in Leamington

Richard's mom turned 88 on Tuesday so we went to St George Monday and had a lot of fun with her and Richard's twin.  We took her to the Cedar City temple and lunch and played lots of games!

We found the site for the new St George temple.

We visited my sister Connie and her husband Rob.

We have this fun neighbor we want to line up with Tammy from Texas.  We met with the Social Security office and signed me up for Social Security.

Friday was super fun! Sister Plumb and Elder Lambourn got married and we went to Leamington Utah for the first time to celebrate.

It was so fun to see lots of our missionaries from Iowa there!
