Children are an heritage of the Lord....as arrows are in the hand.....happy is the (wo)man that hath (her)his quiver full of them. Psalms 127:3-5

Progress!
Today I made the 6 mile mark I've been trying for all summer! Walked 2 miles, biked 4 miles! And I have come full circle and am back in my favorite place on Sundays! The Nursery! I have 6 darling 3 year olds and had a blast on Sunday!!

Last day of Kendalls
Dean loves to stand and bang on things.
Besides his mom and dad, Dean's biggest fans are the Kendalls; Ann and Rod...
And the Quincys; Richard and I.
The Kendalls are a great family to share with. Thankfully Dean woke up at 2:45 this morning and I got some good one on one time with him before he left!

The Kendalls come to recruit!
Yea for James being on the recruiting team for Exxon at BYU again this year! We got to spend a few days with Jenny and Dean! Since their last visit for Jack and Steph's wedding Dean has become proficient at crawling. He loves balls still, but has also acquired a great love for all things with wheels.
Jenny's mother-in-law; Ann, came up Thursday and went to the zoo with us. The animals were pretty cool. By far the coolest was this baby girl elephant. She was adorable and very entertaining... but when you take a wheel lover to the zoo...
He pretty much ignored all of the animals. He loved the strollers, the little trucks that drive around and the construction equipment.
He did seem to enjoy the train ride.
Friday night we had everyone over for dinner and to be entertained by Dean. He was a big hit.
Joni was really tired; worked until after 3 am the night before.
She did wake up and enjoy her nephew though.
Dean loved great-grandma Ellis.
He really loves everyone and played with Josh and Meg and Jack and Steph, besides admiring Jonathan playing the piano, but my camera card was full and I didn't get shots of those interchanges. You'll just have to take my word for it. He is a delight and everyone loves him.

Car craziness, firsts, and celebrating Labor Day
Richard sold this Saturday.
He's now driving this;
Jonathan is driving this;
I'm still driving my swagger wagon. Now if Richard can just sell this;
we will be set for a while.
Here's Jonathan's first pay check!
We finally made it up to the cabin today for the first time this year. We stopped and visited with a bunch of Ellis cousins at Uncle Lee's property on our way in, sat on the swing and read, Jonathan got on the quadrunner...
we ate lunch...
walked around in the sun some...
Dad and Grandpa cut down another tree (did you notice how many have been cut down this year?) and we drove back home. It was fun to hear a bunch of Grandpa's musings on the drive.
