Road trip part 3

We were home for a couple of days and managed to get in on a birthday dinner at my mom's house for Richard! My sister/twin and her husband were there and Joni and Mikey brought Tayson!

the next day after working at the temple until 2:15 we drove most of the way to Redmond to spend time with Jack and Steph and their cute kids! We left from Pendleton in time to stop at their house before their 11:00 church.

The first project on their to do list was replacing the kitchen floor.  The kids got a big kick out of carrying the boards out after Steph and I took them out.  They are so fun!St

Steph did a lot of the work of installing the new flooring and it turned out beautifully!  Jack was surprised to come home from work and just get to help move the appliances back in.
Jack took us out to Frankie's for pizza that night.  It was delicious!

The main reason we planned the trip when we did was because Heidi turned 3 years old the next day!  We had a great wild party!
Wednesday Richard and Steph got lots more projects done; Planting this box garden;

Heidi hammered the ladder for Grandpa while he did some work in the attic.Jamison, Heidi, and Grandpa made this great train track.

Richard put a new vent on the roof for their oven and a replaced a few shingles.

He installed this awesome utility sink in their laundry room.

Heidi loved playing with her new birthday presents.

Thursday Jack took half a day off and we went to see Finding Dory!  Great movie!!
Friday morning we drove back home!  We had some rain and awesome clouds on the drive.

Road trip part 2

Mary Ella Kendall was born on May 31st at 9:50 pm.  She was 7lb 6 oz and 18 inches long.  She has dark brown hair and cute chubby cheeks!
These pictures are all out of order for some reason, but we had a birthday celebration with Jane, Richard helped the kids all make paper airplanes. Avery loved her new cousin.  Mary is sweet and adorable!

We swam with Sydney and Logan, but I was on Alice duty at the big pool, so I got no pictures.  The kids loved Logan's new blow up pool in the Quincy's back yard.

Sydney and Logan love their new cousin.

We celebrated Grandpa's birthday with Jenny's delicious healthy cupcakes and we spent James' birthday at the Quincy's, but got back in time for Jenny and James to go out to dinner and to the adult meeting of their stake conference.

I caught a Mary smile.

Dean and Jane are learning to swim with their parents and are doing well.

I put a curl in Mary's hair.

We took a walk with all the cute Kendalls.

Alice likes the baby except when her mom holds her.

Mary is especially gorgeous after her bath.

These girl cousins are going to best buddies.

Jane is such a sweet big sister and a huge help to her mom.
