More time at Jason and Nicole"s house

I flew into the Hobby Airport for the first time.  Luckily it is just as close to the Kendalls as the IAH.

Dean is into building trains with his blocks these days.  Jane is into being cute.

Jen got me to Jason and Nicole's pretty early Tuesday Morning to meet Logan.  He is adorable!

I really like him!

He is not as wiggly as Jamison, but he's very alert when he's awake.  He's a good sleeper and nurser, which is a big change from Nicole's experience with Sydney

Its really fun to watch these cousins interact.  Sydney is very sweet about sharing her toys and very kind and gentle with Jane.  She loves to help her mom with the baby.  The perfect big sister!

today it was a lot later before I got the kids up to see Nicole and the kids.  Jenny and James are on a trip to Austin and I am tending.  I was surprised how easily I drove to their house one way and back to Jen's another way. Here's Dean and Sydney balancing blocks on Jason's drum sticks.

Logan lost his cord and got a belly button last night.

Isn't he handsome?  I'll get more shots of their family. Tomorrow I'm keeping the Kendall kids home, but Friday we'll be back up there and I get to stay at Logan's house 3 nights!

The Nerds

Jonathan has been looking forward to this all week.  He and Charity are going to the City Creek Center to look for cosplay clothes.  They are riding trax down and so I got to pick up Charity and give a ride to the station.  They decided to go as nerds and so they wore their nerd glasses.  They wore them all day at school one day this week and I was sorry to miss the chance to get a picture of it. But, I got them in the end  (evil laugh)!!

Logan Richard Quincy

Logan Richard Quincy was born at 3:08 pm Houston time today.

He weighed 8 pounds and 3 ounces.  And is 20 inches long.

I think he looks like his dad.  Under that hat he has brown hair.  I can't wait to meet him!  I fly to Houston in one week!  Grandma Lynch is there now, the lucky lady!

They're back!

Three visitors this morning.  I was so excited that I took a terrible video, but I wanted to get them leaping the back fence.  They are so graceful and do it so effortlessly!

Joni's Birthday Dinner and the last day of Spring Break and Jamison

We got to have Joni and Gino for dinner!  Its not easy to arrange with their schedule!

Jason and Nicole are at the  hospital working on my 9th grandchild's birth.  Expect more on this later!

Spring break, Jamison, Easter Bash, Baby Blessing, And 64th Anniversary

 Its my parents anniversary today.  I need to tell a story about them.  My mom's had 2 knee replacement surgeries in the last year.  Dad is getting cortizon shots in his bad knee.  On Jonathan's birthday they came and brought him a gift.  They came straight from the temple.  Dad was excited about the fact that they had been able to be the witness couple since they have good knees now!  Is it any wonder we all love them so much and want to be around them?  They continue to amaze me!

My mom and dad were married 64 years ago.  They were only 18 years old!  They were high school sweethearts and have never dated anyone else.

They are so amazing and fun to be around.  They come to everything and live to serve their 10 kids, 53 grandkids, and almost 67 grandkids.
