Getting into 2010
This year has started out with lots of fun! I am really enjoying doing the temple work for the people I found! Primary is more fun than ever. I'm currently the assistant 11 year old scout leader and the acting Webelos leader, so I get lots of fun time with the cute boys in the ward.
This is the picture that I put on the cover of our 2010 CD of Primary songs for the new program. I love the theme this year; "I Know My Savior Lives" The new song is so beautiful and has such a powerful message! Our goal is for every one of our Primary kids to grow a testimony this year!
Our Stake Presidency issue a challenge for the year every year. This year they want us to choose a commandment that we can work on living more perfectly.

Josh and Meg are back from their cruise, The Chapmans are back home from Houston, The Kendalls are alone in their home for the first time since Dean was born. He can even use his own bedroom now!
I'm very excited for Jason, Nicole and Sydney to come visit at the end of the month! She'll turn 2 months old while she's here!

Joni is all moved into her new apartment and is figuring out life as a single girl. Luckily she has Dad to help her with cars, moves and such. We are adjusting to Jonathan being around and not swimming this year. I got him a punch card to the South Jordan Rec center. Soon he'll be looking for a job. This is a picture Richard took of the field trip with the Legacy folks yesterday. They went to see the ice sculptures at Midway.

A First on the Second
Today, thanks to Jack and Stephanie's urging, we made it to the temple to do baptisms for the names that Jenny and I have got ready so far. I have to say that I was thrilled to get these cards printed with my name as the contributor on them. Is that prideful?
These were meant to be Ed's mother and father, but I messed up and did his mother and brother, his dad is Lewis Harvey Jones and his brother is Harvey Lewis Jones, but you get the idea. Josh and Meg, Jack and Steph, Jonathan, Richard and I all got to be there. I'll be sending you endowments to do; Jason and Nicole, Jenny and James, and Jessica and Dan. The plan is to get them all ready for the sealings by our family reunion this summer. It was really a neat experience to witness the baptisms and confirmations of people that I actually found! I especially felt something for Josephine Martinez, Ed's grandmother. I have spent so much time trying to find her family and haven't got them yet, but now I feel close to her. Jack was able to baptize Jonathan, Stephanie and Josh. Josh baptized Jack, Meg and Richard. Richard baptized me. I can't wait to do the initiatory work!

2010; A New Year
We started the New Year right with a great New Year's Party doing this awesome puzzle that the Kendalls gave Richard. Yes, it was a very wild party! We all had a hard time staying awake long enough to wish each other Happy New Year. Thanks for coming and feeding us Chicken Enchiladas, puzzling with us and teaching us how to play Blockus Josh and Meg.
We showed up an hour early for the Bay Family Reunion at Grandma's church, so we got to help them set up.
