My Aunt Helen was the oldest of Earl and Iola Bay's 8 children. She has been a hero of mine. She attended the University of Utah while I was there. (She finished though). She was on the Relief Society General Board and came to Chile while I was there as a missionary.

Yes, the 1st Presidency and the Quorum of the 12 sent flowers to her funeral. The Quorum or the 70 did too.

President Russell M. Nelson with Uncle Frank.
After the children all spoke Elder Lynn G Robbins of the 70 spoke and then President Nelson. President Nelson said a couple of things I have to quote. He said the its possible to parent from the other side of the veil and he said that he needed to add another initial to Aunt Helen's name; Helen O Bay Gibbons. Then as the family left following the casket President Nelson stood and shook each of our hands as we walked past. It was an amazingly sweet thing to do.
Aunt Helen's kids found this on her computer after her death. She really lived this.
