Out with the old in with the new!

Our new Mission President has arrived!  President and Sister Sturm are wonderful! We had them over for dinner tonight and really enjoy them!

Our cute Sister Fisher got married!

We have loved the Badgers and all they've taught us about Christlike love!

Tammy sent us sweet pictures of her new grandbaby Tinley

Iowa has such beautiful foliage everywhere!

We had these good Elders over to eat Elder Quincys grilled hamburgers!

Kylee and Tinley.
This week will be busy!  Poor President had a 3 inch stack of letters to sign for me.  I'll get to send all them off!  We had a really hot weekend; In the 90's with the humidity it felt like 105!
We went to the Iowa City 4th ward's sacrament meeting  this morning, then Elder Quincy stayed for their combined adult meeting while I went to the Spanish branch's combined meeting. Then we went to the Spanish Branch's sacrament meeting!  Fun stuff! My Spanish should improve!
We are loving life here!

Good byes to Badgers and all over the Iowa map

We were back in the office Tuesday morning.  We stopped to see these 2 in the hospital on our way home from work.  Elder Quincy gave Br Harrington a blessing in preparation for his stem cell transplant the next day!

Mormon Trek road

We found these bar stools on the net.  They were too tall but the resourceful Elder Quincy cut them down!

Friday we had to get up at 4:00 am to drive to Des Moines and send Elder Littlefield off.

After some rearranging we got his suitcases down to weight.

We got back in time for our farewell Zone Conference.  The Badgers are so loved!  They have left a huge influence on this mission and the 500 missionaries they've care for!

We got to FaceTime with this cutie who turned 6!

Yesterday we slept in!  Then walked to the Mormon Handcart park.

This morning we headed to church in Marshalltown!   Look how much the corn has grown!

We sure love these people!

Then we headed to Newton to give the Sisters there some paperwork.

The office is getting more and more put together, our apartment is getting more and more furnished and we are learning more and more about our responsibilities.  Life is good!

Baptism and extra Blessings!

Elders Orme and Ostergaard

The Poulsons heading home

Sisters Peterson and Egbert came and helped

My new pond and apartment in Coralville.
Our sweet Jane was baptized by her dad Saturday in Humble, Texas!

We had a crazy week unpacking and organising the office as we caught up our work.  Elder Quincy had to put the cubicles back together.  Thankfully the local missionaries came and helped!  We were working late every night and then left from the office after working all day on Thursday. We made it to Nevada, Oklahoma that night!  There was
So much rain in Dallas!

I'd never been in Oklahoma!

It was great to be back in Texas!

We saw Jason and Nicole's  beautiful new house,

Their silly kids,

and loved reading scriptures with them.

After the baptism we had an awesome party at Jenny and James' beautiful home!

We got back to Jason's in time for Elder Quincy to do two projects at their home with help from Avery,

Sydney, and Logan.

Sunday we attended church in Cleveland where it feels like home!  It was great to see so many loved ones!

We enjoyed some time at the Roberts' home!

We left from there in a rainstorm that we drove in all day!

Here we managed to get gas before it caught us again!

This morning we left in more rain!

We stopped in Liberty, Missouri at the visitors center there!

It seems like the corn grew 4 inches while we were gone!

This picture made me so happy!   Dino was the first African baptized in Marshalltown.   He's back in Africa.  He Sent me this picture of him at church in Kinshasa in the Congo!
