Good byes!

Monday morning it stopped raining long enough for this gorgeous xwalk around the pond.

While Br Harrington and Elder Quincy put new struts on the car Sister Harrington and I went to Wal-Mart.  As we walked in her mom and sister were walking out!

They've almost finished the Casey's that was destroyed in the tornado the day
we arrived.

Our darling sisters were transferred.  One last lesson with Nancy, Conchita and Kevin before they left.

I walked these 5 kids to and from school this week to prepare them to walk themselves starting tomorrow morning.

We got these great new sisters!

We took a walk in the rain.

Elder Quincy grilled the Sister Cragun and Sister Plumb hamburgers.

Dino came back to Marshalltown!   The first African to get baptized here!

We got snow Saturday afternoon!

We got to talk in church today!  Hard to leave these good people!

Nauvoo revisited, birthday week, Easter

This has been a very full week!  Family Home Evening Monday was great; Us and 5 nonmembers talking about Easter in English and Spanish. One son-in-law, 2 grandkids, and 3 of our kids had birthdays this week! We got to talk to most of them and communicate with all of them. Amy made it to Nauvoo to do baptisms!

The weather has been gorgeous!

I actually saw this guy catch a fish on the pond!  First time!

We said good bye to Charlie!

We said good bye to Vickie!

Daffodils bloomed!

We moved Nancy on the only rainy day!

The Sisters helped too.

Driving to Gilman for youth group which was awesome!  We gave the Pastor a Book of Mormon!

On the way home Wednesday night at 9.

Heading back the next morning on the same road at 6 to pick up missionaries.

Our van load headed to Nauvoo!

Amy was baptized for her mom.  It was a great day!

Joseph and Hyrums graves.

Old trucks off the highway.

Tired Elders

We got to attend Payton's blessing.

Pretty clouds on the way to Albion.

Gredo being Sister Quincy. I took Elysee's ministering sisters to meet her and they will be awesome!  We made it to Zenos pizza and it's really good!

We found Mormon Ridge.

Saturday we did lots of service.  Well Elder Quincy did mostly. He put a railing on this porch...

While I went for a walk.

Done!

Then we went to put in a new window.

And cover a board with fascia.

We then picked up Paul and Lea to go to Ames.  The freeway was closed becuse a live wire fell over the road.  We got there though! And Lea and Paul met with the Stake President for temple recommends!!!

Cool moon on the way home at 11!

Meanwhile in Utah my awesome family had their annual Easter Bash!

The Tsoluka kids in their Easter best.

A good looking bunch.

We got to help feed the homeless with this great crew for Easter dinner!

We moved more stuff to Des Moines, and are trying to wrap things up here!  We are just so wrapped up in the lives of so many we live here!  Change is hard! One more Sunday in Marshalltown!
