Madison and Mason and the State BC Meet

Jonathan swam the 200 free and 50 free today. He got best times in both. Richard timed the first hour while I sat in the air conditioned building. He's very awesome that way! Last night we got to tend Mason and Madison for a couple of hours they really enjoyed the playground and the water table. Here is the video of Jonathan's 50 meter free. His coach said that he would have done a 29 instead of a 30, if he hadn't taken that huge breath in the last fourth of the race. He's in lane 4 and came in 2nd in his heat.

The Chapmans leave us.

I know, I know, I have been blogging almost every day. Its just so exciting when the Chapmans are in town and it attracts all of the rest of the kids, so there's always lots of fun things to blog about. They left this morning, so things will quiet down now. Of course Jenny and James are coming in September. Jason and Nicole are buying a new house, and the new grandkids will be here in a few months, but until then there's just Jonathan and the state swim meet to cover. Tessa plays with her doll.

Sweet Tessa! How will I manage without seeing that smile for a few more months? Thanks for coming Jess and Dan!

I had to add on these pictures from Laura and Brian's family website. They took lots of great ones!

Its so nice to get reacquainted, although with the internet, we are more aware of each other and share more of our lives than ever before. Lots of Ellises and lots of food!

Family Time on Sunday

Its been another fun day with the Chapman family in town. All the family gathers more and its more fun and exciting with our grandkid/niece cuties to play with. Josh and Richard looking for an after dinner snack.
Stephanie plays for us. I did get a picture of Jack and Stephanie together, but it was blurry.
Our computer geeks. They hovered around the computers while the rest of us played games.
Meg and Tessa. Today is the one year anniversary of Meg's mother's death. I wish I'd known her because she sounds very amazing. I'm sure she's proud of her daughter. Meg is such a good, kind, giving person. We are soo blessed to have her in our family!

A Baptism, Boating, and a Birthday Dinner!

Josh and Meg treated most of the family to a day of fun on the lake in their new boat. Richard and I had to be to a baptism first, but made it to the second half of the day.Christopher and parents. Notice his cool red waterproof cast on the arm he broke at our Primary Board Family Barbeque last week.

Thanks Josh and Meg for the fun day. Everyone loves your boat and most of us enjoyed the new sport you introduced us to; Wake surfing! The only thing that would have been better would be having Jason& Nicole and James & Jenny here, too!

Dan's birthday celebrated, finally!
