Congrats to Jack
I know what you're thinking...no, Jack and Stephanie are not engaged... Jack has accepted the offer from Microsoft for an internship this summer. He'll be working on the Zune in Seattle, Washington. Alas, Steph will be here without him this summer.

Missionary shower, Wall pictures, etc.
I go visiting teaching to this cutie. She was called to serve in my mission! Chile Concepcion South! (The south part is new, but the new mission emcompasses all the places I served). I got to take her shopping for the group gift last night. We found this awesome raincoat and a very nice Samsonite suitcase.

Here's the update on the family picture wall. I now have all the family up there!! I'm pretty excited for family pictures in July to get some more professionally made ones of y'all.
And finally, the snow is gone! There are no more patches in our yard even though it snowed some yesterday. Sadly spring has brought a gopher digging a hole in the middle of our playground!

A few more videos
I told Jess I'd put these videos on our family photo sharing blog, but I decided that everyone might as well enjoy them. Now if I could just figure out how to get the one off of my phone onto here!

The Princess Week-End
I got to fly into Denver for Sophie's Princess birthday party!
Here's cute little Tessa and her cute little mom getting her hair done for church.
Sophie is so cute about her dad playing his viola. She seriously thinks she is playing a duet with him.
Tessa loved my cell phone and had it most of the time we were there. I love this shot of her red cheeks, bed head and cell phone.
Here are 4 cousins ready for the guests to arrive for the princess party!
Then Jessica trying to teach the party kids how to play Simon says.Sophie blowing out her birthday candles and loving the spotlight. I loved seeing how much effort Jess and Dan put into making Sophie's party just right and how excited she was about every little thing they did. She was one happy princess!

Is Spring in the Air?
If I were the gambling type I would have bet that Dakota was not going to make it through the winter and yet here she is still jumping up when the back door opens.
This is the last patch of snow in our yard. This must be a spot that the sun never hits. Now things are not green by any means, but it looks a lot more springlike than Virginia! (Check out Amanda and Mike's blog post).
Another great indication is that I not only did yoga this morning, but I made it around the block 3 times! That's a whole mile! Dakota and I are going to make it to another Spring!
What season is it at your place?

Two Years Later
Jason and Nicole celebrated their 2 year anniversary today. Luckily, I got to tend Sydney while they went out. It was great to get some one on one time with her!
Nicole said today that 2 years ago she would never have guessed that they'd have a baby and a house today. Isn't it amazing what blessings come our way as we move forward with faith!

Nicole said today that 2 years ago she would never have guessed that they'd have a baby and a house today. Isn't it amazing what blessings come our way as we move forward with faith! Jason and Nicole ran into Bob and Pam when they went after the long awaited Asphalt Pie and so they came over and met Sydney! They have great grandparenting skills! Sydney loved them.
Joni came over for one last Sydney hug and kiss. She really did like Joni, this was after they had been playing and smiling on the floor and Joni held and bounced her singing some lovely songs about the pictures on the wall.
