Good-bye to Kendalls and some Quincys

Jenny's family left early Monday morning!

I helped them into the airport and then headed downtown to get Elliott.  We made it home before Jason's family left.  Elliott eating breakfast with "my friend Logan".

This boy has heart melting smile!

Elliott took the camera and wanted to take a picture of the tree.  Not bad, eh?

Jack and Steph stopped by on their way out of town.  I didn't get a picture though.  Down to just Elliott until the next day.

Sunday family stuff

My niece already got this group shot up!  It looks awesome, especially considering that 2 of the kids were having major melt downs!

At church we were surprised to see that Jessica's Jacob and Jason's Logan have the same sweater!

After the turkey dinner and playing around we put the kids in their matching pajamas.  Sadly Elliott was sick and so Josh and Meg didn't come down and Joni woke up with pink eye, so her family didn't make it either.  This year we managed to get them all seated more easily by putting
"How the Grinch Stole Christmas" on to watch.

They mostly ignored the photographers.

I think they look adorable!

There's Heidi cute tongue again!

Can you tell these kids make me happy?

Some tired girls.

Jane teasing her daddy.

At one time there were 5 kids trying to watch a show on my tablet.  The funny thing was that the same show was playing on the big TV in the same room!

Tessa getting Candy Crush lessons.

While Jane was napping Sydney and Dean took turns wearing her new tutu.
Jack's friend Nich and his wife stopped by for a visit.

Quincy Christmas

We had Christmas yesterday with the Quincy family.  Breakfast at 9:00, followed by our traditional discussion of the Gift of Christ and that we celebrate His birthday.  We then all think of a gift we can give Christ and write it down and put it in a special box.

10:00  we grabbed our stockings and opened gifts!!

My beautiful girls!

Then we played with the gifts!

Sharing chairs is fun with cousins.

Logan really gets into the TV!

Joni had to work until 12:00, so it was another round of gift opening when she, Mikey and Mikey's daughter Montana arrived. We all loved Montana.  She is a beautiful and sweet 11 year old.

Mikey wasn't feeling well, but sucked it up and came.

Joni fell in love with Heidi, just like everyone else! My talented niece, Camilla Gomez Bottelberghe came and took our family pictures.  It was cold and the kids weren't happy, but she did a great job!  After pictures we had a pizza party!

After we were all fed, we reenacted the Nativity and read from Luke 2.  This year everyone wanted to be an angel.  Last year shepherds were the popular choice.

Jane decided that she would be Mary.  Notice how she handles the baby Jesus.

Josh made a great Joseph.

My little angels.

It was great fun!

Mary need a little refreshment after the long journey.

Dean made a great avenging angel!

After the pageant we had the 3rd Annual DDR contest.

Jane wasn't ready to give up her lovely costume yet.

Heidi always had a flock of admirers and cameras surrounding her.

Jason and Nicole should get the award for toughest dancers.

The grand kids really got into the dancing this year.

They decided it worked to share pads.

No one paid attention to who won this year, but I'm pretty sure Jonathan could beat us all with one leg, except for Jenny, even though she's pregnant.
.

After the partying, Jack and Steph went to hear her brother perform in a concert and I got to tend this sweetie!  It was such a fun day!
