We finally made it up to the cabin today for the first time this year. We stopped and visited with a bunch of Ellis cousins at Uncle Lee's property on our way in, sat on the swing and read, Jonathan got on the quadrunner...

walked around in the sun some...
Dad and Grandpa cut down another tree (did you notice how many have been cut down this year?) and we drove back home. It was fun to hear a bunch of Grandpa's musings on the drive.

ReplyDeleteGlad the van sold, that's nice. Yea for getting paid Jonathan! Pay checks rock. I've had a lot of checks that look just like that myself (since I worked there 6 years). Ahhh, memories. Thanks for enjoying my birthday in the mountains, lovely.
