Summer arrives!

How do I know it must be summer?
First;This irresistable urge to get the playground ready for my grandkids. (kind of like nesting)?I have this personal rule for buying things on KSL; it has to be in South Jordan or a neighboring city or be an incredible deal. This little playhouse was in West Jordan AND it was only $30. It was falling apart, but with some of Richard's expertise in screwing it back together and creating a better-than-original way to keep the door on and swinging its ready for grandkids!
Second; I have more time! I manage to fit in my 20 minute yoga workout, half an hour of Wii fit, 15 minutes of Just Dance before I walk and pull weeds! Richard got my bike down yesterday, so I'll have to figure out how to fit that into the morning routine! (No, I'm not losing weight, but I feel good)!

Third; the beautiful flowers that Jack and Steph gave me for Mother's Day finally wilted. They have seriously been beautiful this whole time!

The Fourth and most definitive indication of summer;
Teenager sleeping on the couch in the middle of the day!

  3. Wish we had a playhouse and playground in our own backyard! And I also wish I had a morning routine like yours! Every time I read your blog I think what lucky grandkids to have a grandma like Chris. Thanks for all the Denver pictures too. Looks like you had a great time!

  4. I'm scared to show Sophie the play house picture because she'll demand to go there at once and the tantrum that follows will be enormous... but the surprise when she sees it soon will be wonderful!
    Good job with your work out routine, losing weight or not, it's all about feeling good in my book.

  5. I love the little playhouse...It looks brand new! I would have LOVED that as a kid--probably wouldn't mind it now either, if I could even get my big toe into it!

    Yup, it's officially summer...No more work. I need to get inspired and start an exercise program like you do!
