A surprise visit and temple square

Jack and Jamison came and played today while Steph and Heidi were visiting a friend.

All day Elliott was talking about her mom and dad getting married today.  

She meant she was going to see the place where they got married.

Today was Josh's actual birthday!  We got to go to their sacrament meeting and sit with Elliott so Josh and Meg could both sing in the choir. We brought Elliott home with us to nap and then Josh and Meg brought 3 bags of crab for dinner!  It was delish!  Elliott was excited about her dad's cake!

This wasn't a good picture, but its the only one I captured any of Mikey and Joni in!  

Mikey's daughter flies in tomorrow and the Chapmans drive in on the 26th!  Everyone else has arrived!  Just not to our house yet.

Elliott is pretty bossy, especially when people actually do what she tells them to.  She had Grandpa following her up and down the stairs bringing up different toys, having a tea party with him, and of course, dancing with her.  No wonder she loves him!

BTW did you notice the stockings?  I had to buy 2 more this year!  We keep growing!

This is the final drawing Jonathan did for his Drawing class.  He doesn't like to draw so realistically, but I think it turned out very well.

This cutie in our ward is leaving on a mission to Orlando on January 1st, so we had to hurry and have a shower for her.  Of course it snowed and was freezing Saturday, so I didn't think anyone would make it.  (Besides, lots of people had gone in on the group gift).  I don't know why I doubted, our ward always pulls through!  She got lots of sweet people there to support her!  

This is the only shot with her mom in it.  I darkened it so you can kind of see her beside Tanisha.

Thanksgiving in St. George

Its been a while since we had this whole family together.  Here's Richard with his brothers and his mom.

Thanks for the delicious dinner!  I loved the drive having Richard to myself for 8 hours was fun!  We listened to 5 talk CDs and about 5 Christmas CDs!

Jon's big event!

Jonathan has been very excited about the movie "Catching Fire" coming out!  He has wanted to do a cosplay of the anime character Grell for a while, too so he decided to combine two things he was excited about and to dress up in his Grell stuff for the premier of the movie last night.

Charity came and painted roses on his face.

And painted his finger nails.

Here he is after the show!  He loved it and had a great time with his friends!  And looked pretty awesome!
