Last week was fun and busy. Here's a couple of the fun things; Corey got his Arrow of Light. We've been a ward for 4 years now and Corey was the first cub to get his Arrow of Light! Congrats Corey.
I got to watch Christopher in the morning and get him ready for a Halloween party at Kidsport. Scarry, huh?
Finally this is the spookiest of all. I looked out the front room window this morning and saw this strange thing on the front lawn. It kind of looks like a dead bird with its head in the ground. Its not small. I took a picture with my tennis ball to give it perspective. It is a mushroom! Weird and Scarry I say!
Dan and I are very afraid of your mushroom. Do you think a bird was buried there and the mushroom, eh, ate it on it's way out of the ground? That's creepy looking.
ReplyDeleteIt was gone when I got home from Jonathan's swim meet! It is definitely creepy!
ReplyDeleteWe have magic disappearing ones in our flower bed, but yours is definitely creepier.
ReplyDeleteI'm SO glad you blogged your mushroom--I was curious to see what it looked like...That thing is HUGE!
ReplyDeletelooks like an ink cap. Did it dissolve into a gray-blue heap a few days later? We get them here all the time. What trees are near--that's how you really can tell.
ReplyDeleteAnd CONGRATS on your first grandson! I'm so happy and proud of Jenny. Waiting for more pictures...
