We have had lots of different schedules for this reunion, Dan had to fly out Tuesday evening to be in court on Wednesday. Jack and Jason's families left on Wednesday morning. James flew home on Thursday. Which left Jess and Jenny and their 5 children with us until Saturday morning when Jess had to leave and drive home to Denver by herself with her 3 kids.
Tessa woke up bright and ready for breakfast. She wanted to try on the veil her mom made out of toliet paper at a shower the week before.
Jacob was hungry (as always) and ready to go.
Jane is enjoying playing with Tessa one last time.
Richard helped Jess get the van packed up and ready for the drive. Sophie didn't want to get up and didn't want breakfast and opted to travel in her pajamas. I was worried about how things would go for poor Jess with her oldest rebelling, but they got home safe and sound even though the DVD player quit halfway there.
I only got videos of the kids on the tramp with Aunt Meg on Sunday which I will upload soon, but here's some cute shots of the kids playing on Monday. Elliott plays well with Dean and Jane. It was great.
This set of blocks I borrowed from the nursery. They love to play with it, and they use the container for a chair, which I find hilarious.
Jonathan and Jenny have been watching an anime together that Dean is scared of. Everytime he gets by the stairs he says; "Its scary down there". Elliott didn't believe him and so Dean gave in.
Jenny and Joni flew to Denver early Tuesday morning to spend the day with Jessica.
From somewhere there was a little plastic flag here that the kids were playing with. Dean couldn't find it and was very upset, so Jonathan and I took him to the store to find a flag. The only one we could find was a real flag. We found this stick to put on it and he carried it around all day long. Kind of appropriate for 9/11, isn't it?

You are so nice to take care of my kids in the early morning hours. They don't even come into my room when I am staying at your house so I don't even know they're up when I'm there! Thanks for taking such great care of us, we love to come see you!!
