We were so blessed to have dry roads pretty much for our whole trip. Yes, that is snow piled that high on the side of the road. There had been a big storm the day before we drove up and then storms followed up to Washington, but we were ahead of them.
This awesome fireplace was at a little cafe in Eastman, which is at the top of Snoquamlie pass.
