SERVICE! This is the month for it!

I just got out of the best lesson and had to write about it before I forget anything.  Glenda Cleveland is seriously more active and excited about the gospel than most members.  Every year for the last 4, she and her best friend fly to Utah to watch General Conference in person.  She lives the word of Wisdom, the Law of Tithing, and keep the Sabbath Day holy even though she's never been taught any commandments from the missionaries.  All I can say is; "Why wasn't she baptized years ago"?   She lives out in the sticks and didn't want the missionaries to have to drive so far to teach her!  She is the epitome of the term "dry Mormon".  She's waiting for us to get back from Utah, and being baptized on December 17th!!
I wrote that after our first lesson with Glenda. We've had a few more since.
Things are going so well in Cleveland! It was hard to leave, but its so nice to be here with our sweet new little one! We've been able to spend time with Jenny's family, Joni's family, Jonathan and Josh's family in the last few days.
Back to the mission; Sonya wants to be baptized and is praying to know if  Christmas Eve is the right time.  When she and her daughter came to the lesson at the church this week they brought her daughter's boyfriend, who is now investigating! We talked to Sonya's sister at the Preschool on Thursday.  She said that she read the whole time she was sitting it the deer blind last week-end and never even looked for a deer.  We need to get her committed to baptism.
Elder Quincy has work waiting for him upon our return. A non-draining kitchen sink, rebuilding a ramp, adding a bathroom and then remodeling a bathroom. I loved visiting our ward today!  There are just so many good people here in South Jordan!  They are needed out in the world!  I wished I could borrow my good cousin Cindy Bay Heiner to come teach our Gospel Essentials.  I wished the great testimonies born could be shared to the ward in Cleveland!
The service initiative has been great and people love watching the videos.  Challenge people you meet to watch and try it!  Its been great to see the joy it brings people!
Last, when we checked in to fly home we discovered that a sweet sister struggling with anxiety was flying on our flight with us. It was so nice to be able to talk to her and help her see that she has no control over her illness and should feel no guilt about having to go home a little early.   Heavenly Father really does care about us and is ready to take care of us!
Sweet Kinsley Rain!
Heading out for a visit in Cold Spring.
