A Wonderful Crazy Busy Week!

We had our first staff meeting with the Sturms Monday. We love them already!

The Blues Sisters
I had lots of letters to send out that had been waiting weeks for the new President' s signature.  I had the Baptism report to edit and send out.  Miraculously I figured out how to put in the formulas that were missing and got the report complete.  It was the 1st day of a new month so I had to get the 6 baptism records in and submitted. And it was the deadline for pictures from the 28 missionaries leaving in July!
Tuesday was Zone Conference in Nauvoo which was delightful!

Since we were there we took the time to go to the temple!  I had no names ready for endowments so I did baptisms, confirmations and inititories while Elder Quincy did an endowment!  I had time to sit in the celestial time and read and ponder and pray!  It's been too long since I could do that!  It was hot and humid, but I managed to get some pictures while I waited!

We enjoyed seeing how much taller the corn was! I miss being in farmland all the time!

Wednesday we were back in the office frantically working trying to catch up! I spent lots of time on the phone tracking down baptism records and missionary pictures.  We did manage a morning walk before it got too hot.

We had a beautiful sunset!

Thursday, the 4th we went to the 5 star Jimmy Jack's barbeque Shack with the Sanders and then worked the rest the day at the office.  Elder Quincy worked with the FM guy putting in the cabinets from our old office.

Meanwhile in Texas, 3 of our kids were together!Friday I got all my baptism recorrds and missionary pictures and got my report done and my video ready to record! We picked up a Sister and sent her off for home and got all caught up!  Saturday we had time for Costco shopping, grocery shopping, a visit to the hospital to see the Harringtons, and a couple of hours in the office!
Meanwhile in Utah my dad turned 90 and a bunch of the family celebrated!

Today we enjoyed our English and Spanish meetings, cooked salmon and I had a lovely nap!
