Still home!

We are supposed to be in Texas tending my daughters kids while she and her husband went to Puerto Rico.  We planned to be in Texas

3 weeks seeing our grandson baptized and then tend our sons kids while he and his wife went on a cruise.  At least we have awesome masks to wear (thanks Meg) as we stay close to home.

We go for drives when we get cabin fever.  We saw this beautiful rainbow on our way back from house viewing in Brigham City.

We found the perfect house in Syracuse and then decided we really may want to stay where we are.

We saw my nephew and brother-in-law at our neighbor’s buying a junk car!

We had a fun Easter with our quarantine partners.  I think we’d go crazy without them here!

Richard repainted the play structure.

He made me a grow box and we planted strawberries.

I had a great birthday with my daughters family, social distanced visits from my sons family and the great Arnolds.

We visited the lot where our daughter is having a house built.
I dig up lots of dandelions, but there are always more to dig up.
We got a desktop computer which has helped me get family history done.
I’m thankful for Marco Polo and Zoom and the fun of seeing my my grandkids.  It’s not in person, but it keeps us closer.  I’m thankful for ebooks to checkout from the libraries and puzzles.  I’m thankful for my good husband and that we can have the sacrament and study the gospel together.  There are so many things I miss, but I feel very blessed to have a comfortable place to live with all my needs met and to have entertainment from my cute daughters family!  I am so ready to serve at church and in the temple again soon!

We had a
 birthday dinner for Joni!
