Change

My baby started High School this week. When did he grow up?
They are knocking down some of the South Jordan landmarks; Sister Peterson's house on the corner of 114th and Redwood is gone. She was born in that house and remembered when Redwood Road was a farm road for wagons and horses. Priscilla Grove's house was knocked down. I managed to get a picture of Billy Grove's house before they knock it down. They already got the big tree.
I'm tending another friend's grandkid today. It seems like I tend more friend's grandkids than friend's kids these days. Could I be getting old?
Here's Ryan, Melissa's grandson, that I get to tend sometimes, too.

  1. Oh, I've always loved seeing that little old house there on my way to your house. Why can't they just refurbish it and keep some original architecture around the city!?
Jonathan is getting old, isn't he? He is such a talented kid, I'm really impressed. That's what he gets for having such a great mother!

  2. So does that mean 114th is going to go through all the way now? That would be nice if it had an on-ramp to I-15!! I am glad that you get to see cute babies, you are such an amazing mom (and grandma).

  3. Sorry I don't know as much history or the people you do...I'm just looking forward to 114 going through and having a freeway entrance!
FABULOUS picture of Jonathan by the way:)
