Today I was released from my calling as Primary President. Its really strange to be released without getting a new calling! Being unemployed is really strange in the church. I did hint very strongly to the new President that I'd love to teach Primary. The last time I taught Primary was in the nursery waaaay back before I was called to be the Relief Society President. 7 or 8 years ago!

Yes, and our nursery kids are now big kids, and I KNOW they miss "Uncle Quincy!"

ReplyDeleteIt's birthday week! Wish I could be there. I bet you're having withdrawls from all the time you're used to spending with Primary stuff. It's good for you to get a break though. A primary teacher would be so fun!
ReplyDeleteI know just what you should do. You could write a book about teaching in primary. Share all those funny stories, great sharing times and memorable singing times.
