My first peek at Jane and it was love at first sight! It was kind of like having Jessica a baby again!

I brought this old duplo toy for Dean because it has wheels that screw on and off, he got very upset when the wheels came off at first, but was okay with it a week or so later.

Team Kendall feeding their kids.

Jane and her beautiful mom.

The awesome family Kendall!

Sydney and Dean enjoying the water table on Jenny's balcony.

Jason and Nicole come to visit.

Sharing a chair and sitting, no easy feat to get them to sit!

Uncle Jason napping with Jane.

Aunt Nicole feeds Jane.

The Loos family visits.

Jane in her Sunday dress!

Super Mom Jenny and kids.

Dean loves this giraffe. He hugs it when he gets hurt or sad and sometime shares his drinks, binky and toys with it.

I caught this smile!!!

Dean was very pleased with this score from our trip to Target. There's a funny story about this pinwheel I'll tell you if you ask about it.

Dean gets interested in his little sister.

The don't touch thing was hard to learn.

I think Jenny's life was easier when Dean ignored her.

Jane's cord came off on the 7th and she got her first bath!

We went to visit Nicole and Sydney. Its really relaxing to let the cuties play there. They have no stairs and a very child proof house! It had been so long since I'd been there and I was impressed with the new furniture and the cute decorating Nicole has done.

Sharing cereal.

Sydney is showing off her skills on her slide. Dean does not like to climb up it or go down it. They look like twins, but the are very different.

Jason and Nicole's lawn got fried while they were gone for a week. Houston is having a draught. The kids helped out by running through the sprinkler.

Sydney shared her chair with Dean.

Sydney holds Jane.

Sydney was very interested in Jane.

The proud daddy poses for my baby in the hand picture collection.

James is such a sweet dad and is turning into quite the athelete. He's training very seriously for a triathlon; running, biking, swimming and weight lifting. Jane is a very kissable girl!

Dean shows off his car (everything with wheels is a car, including the dishwasher roll out rack) collection.

Nicole came and got Dean and I and took us to the Children's museum. It was really awesome. They have this very cool area for toddlers and lots of cool stuff for older kids that we'll visit as the kids grow up.

Getting a picture of the two kids together was harder than you'd think. They are so different and headed in opposite directions most of the time.

Dean found a steering wheel!

They had this cool padded floor outside patio area with cars, trikes and push toys. Sydney tried everything, but Dean just wanted to push this corn popper. Sydney and he raced around pushing them.

Jane wore this special outfit for her dad's birthday. Sorry James, I know your eyes were closed in this shot, but its the only one in which I could read Jane's tummy.

Yeah! Sydney came to the birthday party!!

Nicole put her awesome cake decorating skills to work on this amazing birthday cake for James. Notice its James' tool box with tool candles! It happened to be delicious, too.

Chillin'.

Recently Jenny and James have been leaving their gate open and letting Dean climb the stairs. He loves it. Its his favorite place to play, when allowed.

So proud!

Busted! After gouging her face; its hand mitts for her!

Jenny saying good-bye before heading to church.

Cinderfella. Dean loves to "help out" in the kitchen!

Luckily after leaving Houston late last night and missing my cute grandkids, I got to pick up Elliott early this morning. She took the sting out of leaving them behind. She got so big while I was gone! Life is good! I love grandkids!!!
Soooooo much fun! I love being a grandma, too!
ReplyDeleteAnd what an AWESOME grandma you are, Chris!! Looks like you're having fun with all of your babies.
ReplyDeleteJane is pretty cute. Do you think it's just the hair that reminds you of me? Because I see a lot of James in that face.
ReplyDeleteThe hair and the cheeks!
ReplyDeleteThat Kendall family is so dang cute! Jenny looks like a very relaxed (or may exhausted?) mother. Thanks for the pictures, Chris! When are you going to come visit all your CAlifornia babies?
