Last Day of the Quincy Reunion! Seattle and Bainsbridge Ferry ride!

Grandpa watching cartoon with the grandkids.

After breakfast we all packed up and left Lake Chelan.  We met at the Seattle temple grounds.  Dan reminds me so much of my brother-in-law Richard Wilson who died about 9 years ago.  He's like the piped piper. The kids all follow him around.

He's a lot of fun!

There's a park next door.  We decided that instead of putting all the kids back in their car seats after a 3 hour drive we'd walk over.   Thankfully James came with us and had a GPS or we might still be wandering in the woods.  There are lots of trails and they don't tell you which one to take.

At the end of the trail was the fun kid's playground!  This may have been the kids' favorite part of the trip.

Jack and Steph went to get us food from their favorite Teriyaki place.  It was delicious!

We ate at the park and then let the kids play for a while.

They had so much fun and are so cute together!

The guys liked hanging out on this huge teeter totter!

The little guys like this little teeter totter.

Such great guys!  When everone was fed and pottied we headed for the ferry ride to Bainsbridge.

Josh and Meg got behind a car they thought was in our group and followed it downtown before they realized it wasn't us.  So they were too late to get on the ferry with us.  They stayed in town and went to the aquarium. Which they were excited about anyway.
Here's a shot from the back of the ferry.

Best view of the space needle!

I love this shot of the Chapmans.  Look at Superman's cape!

It was really cool on the observation deck.

Jess got a better shot of Jenny than I did, but I had to take a shot of the Kendalls.

Jack, Steph and family.

Richard and I were really blowing away in this shot.

Crazy Jamison.

We can almost see Jamison in this shot.

Jess and Richard one level down from me.

There's the sign so you know we really made it.

We spent more time sitting on the way back.

Cool shot of  Captain Jack.

These little guys were so fun to watch running together!

Jason and Jack double teamed them.

Most of the family decided to head to their hotels for the night and to return Josh's and Jason's rental cars. The Chapmans wanted to see Pike's Market while we were right next to it.

Pretty much everything was closed and there were no street performers, but we can say we saw it!

  1. IT has been so fun to read your posts of this family reunion! So many familiar sights! I like knowing that you have a pied piper in the family too:) I love seeing your family get together with all those little ones, too.

  3. Wow this looks like fun! I can't believe I just saw this! We took the same ferry, wasn't it so beautiful? I think you are kind of lucky about Pike Place being closed, we went during a busy time and it was CRAZY! Seattle is such a beautiful place.
