Girl's Camp 2014

I was asked to be camp director for our girl's camp this year.  So I wisely chose to have it at our family's cabin.  Our theme was ROC or rely on Christ.

The girls loved the cabin and its fun swings.

The hike around Mirror Lake was beautiful and easy enough for the girl with the bad knee.

Rock painting was fun.

I made my first dutch oven meals.

The secretary had a baby a week ago, and still came up for the testimony meeting.

Testimony meeting time.

Such a beautiful setting.
Learning to play Spinner.

Enjoying the fire before cooking s'mores.

Resting.

My awesome cousin, Joni Lindsay came up and did a morning devotional for us.  She sings and bears such powerful testimony.

Emily making a fire.
The Bishopric eating peach cobbler.

Avery showing off the sleeping area.

Pondering time.

It was a great time in the mountains.  I love the opportunity it gave me to "be still and know that I am God".
