Joni and Mikey couldn't make it. Montana got to come with us though!
Jack and Steph flew in a few days early and spent time with Steph's family in Utah, then drove to Denver with Richard, Montana and I! Yay! More time with grandkids! Jason and his family drove all the way from Houston, Josh and his family drove from Utah, and the Kendalls and Jonathan flew in.
Jessica had some delicious chili soup waiting for us Wednesday night!
Richard and I cooked breakfast at Jessica's a couple of times. All of the daughters and daughter in-laws made dinner once. So not too much work for anyone. Of course the Chapmans had more work with us staying at their house..
Thursday morning after breakfast we packed lunches and went to the Garden of the Gods in Colroado Springs. It has a great stroller friendly hike. Not like Zions, but pretty and fun.
Montana impressed everyone with her climbing abilities.
Sydney decided she's a monkey too.
Some of the hikers.
Logan finding bugs and rocks.
Dan picked up Jon from the airport and drove him straight down to meet us. Jon was a good sport keeping up with the activities all day in spite of on getting 2 hours of sleep the night before.

After Garden of the Gods we went to Focus on the Family, also in Colorado Springs and highly recommended by my sister, Nancy.
These baby girls will be great friends in a year or two.
Such a fun place with a very high slide, lots of fun play stuff for all ages, air conditioned, and free!
Jenny cooked dinner for us that night. Garlic grilled chicken and an awesome salad.
Friday morning we met at the park by the Nature and Science Museum in Denver to take a family picture in our reunion t-shirts. I'll share the official picture when Jess gets a chance to share it.
The museum as very cool. We didn't try to stay together, its too big and there's too much cool stuff to see and do there. After we had lunch there we all went our own ways, but everyone ended up in the very cool new Discovery Zone.
We had a talent show Thursday night after dinner. Somehow I got the pictures in the wrong spot. Here's Jess getting bed ready for us.
Cute Alice.
So fun to hold and play with.
Elliott did her tricky dance.
Jane danced too fast for my camera.
Jane loves her daddy.
Proud crown wearers.
Jacob admiring Uncle Jon's computer game.
Tessa shower her crown, but not her face.
Jacob spun in a circle for us.
Alice's talent is eating.
Jon played for us.
Jason and Nicole.
Sydney too shy to sing for us. Logan did his awesome downward facing dog with one foot in the air move.
Sophie loving Alice.
Dean tied a knot.
Uncle Dan loving Alice.
Breakfast eaters.
Proud royalty.
Sophie did an interesting dance.
Tessa's dance.
After the talent show the moms stayed with the kids and the guys went to a movie. Guardians of the Galaxy, I believe.
Okay, back to Friday. After the museum we went to a fun family place called Pizzadoodle. It had this awesome play room.
Alice loved the table.
The pizza was even good.
Saturday morning after breakfast we had a mini pinewood derby then went to the neighborhood pool. It was perfect with a 25 meter lap pool. A splash pad play area, an 18 inch kiddie pool, a diving board and a couple of slides.

We went to Jess' for lunch and naps. Meg and Nicole put together everything for "walking tacos" that we took to the Lakeview Amusement Park. Which is so ghetto it's scary, but the kids loved it!

We went home, got the kids bathed for Sunday and ready for bed and most of the moms (not Nicole and Meg who were driving home the next morning), Montana, and Jon went to see Malecifent. The best part, as Steph said was the laughing and talking on the way there and back!
Sunday morning most of us left. After church Richard and I took Jason and Jon to the airport and headed home. Josh and Meg caravanned with Nicole to Utah. Richard and I enjoyed the quiet ride home alone. We did miss the spaghetti dinner Steph fixed for the 3 families who stayed at Chapmnas. It was probably our best reunion yet! A slice of heaven for me!
