2nd Annual Quincy Family Reunion; Estes Park

The last five days have been heaven for me! I am so blessed to not only have such awesome kids that are fun to be around, but to have such fun and supportive spouses for each of them. I enjoyed it all. There are lots of pictures, I'll post some of my favorites, but not the 250 I took. We even shared the grandkids very well!

Here's the condos we stayed in.

Some of the family shots down by the river.

Profiles of the pregnant girls, who don't really look pregnant yet, but we tried.

Fun City; go carts, mini golf, race down the slide & Sophie on the horse ride.

The wonderful game of Ultimate flipflop!

Human whirlpool in the hot tub.
The Bear Lake hike. Elevation 9700 feet.

(Note the snow around the lake made it all more interesting).

The Sprague Lake hike.

The girls took a trip to downtown Estes Park while the guys went to see Terminator. It had an old town Park City feel, but very full of tourists.

Early morning hike to Cub Lake. Of course Nicole and I had the most fun tending the girls.

Josh and Meg kayaking on Lake Estes.

The park by Lake Estes.

Chicken fights, rock skipping, swinging and playing.

A cold swim, notice all the hot tubbers.

One of the coolest things about the place was that it was right next to a river and nestled in the mountains. There were a bunch of elk feeding and hanging out right across the river from us.
Right under one condo was the rec room. We had fun with the ping pong, pool, air hockey and for Sophie; driving. Under the other condo was the exercise room.

Sunday we all headed to Denver and Jessica and Dan's apartment. We got ready for her church, then realized we'd have to leave in the middle of sacrament meeting (kind of disruptive with 16 or you) so we had a family home evening there.
I had to add the video of Sophie dancing while Jonathan played the piano. Sophie adores Jonathan. He seems to be her favorite of all the aunts and uncles which is funny because he is the one least concerned about it. She follows him everywhere and cries when he leaves the room.

Thanks for all of the great food, for getting off of work, missing school, and flying in to be there! What an awesome family! Next year in Utah with 2 or more new members! How did we do this without Meg last year?
