Good old Richard washed all of the outsides of the windows today while Mason and Madison were here and they were intrigued. They ran to the window he was working on and got fingerprints all over it. Luckily they were on the inside that I hadn't cleaned yet. It really makes the house lighter and looks cleaner! Thanks honey!
I picked Jonathan up early from EFY for his piano recital. Here's the gang from our ward minus Garrett, who likes to stay with his group, waiting with Jonathan.

Jonathan didn't get to practice much this week for his recital, but he did well. He made a few mistakes and definitely wasn't as smooth at the page turns as usual.
Here's "Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again" by Andrew Lloyd Webber
For some reason the digital camera shuts off at 3 minutes so these last 2 songs are cut off. Notice he had some very inopportune page turns.
Here's "Homecoming" by Jon Schmidt.
And finally "Escapades of Pan" by David Lantz.

He was moved to the coveted last performance position for this recital.
I would have been on time for my "21 Days Closer to Christ" class if it didn't take Jonathan so long to choose the traditional new sheet music after the performance. Anyway I made it late but it was all good! I really love these special classes our Relief Society does. My favorite is the Scritpure Study Group, but they are all interesting and its fun to get to know each other better.

Now I'm ready to try my yoga video that Jenny and James gave me!
I'm glad you posted Jonathan's songs! Sorry I came in at the tail end, but Howard said he did really well!
ReplyDeleteWOW, do you ever have a lot going on at your place! Loved the piano music, thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteYou should come to our yoga classes at the church...email me for details.
Chris, I would love to hear more about your scripture study class. We have a book group in our ward, but I would love to start something with the scriptures to help us all read them a little more, understand them a little better.
